About Lynus
Lynus is AI-supported casework for the public sector, built by three founders. Here is the story behind the name, who we are, and where Lynus stands today.
About the name
Lynkeus could see through everything, even through the earth.
In Greek mythology Lynkeus was the lookout on the Argo, the ship that sailed for the Golden Fleece. He saw what was hidden from the others. That is the job Lynus does in a case: find what is not written there, and show where it comes from. The crew makes the decision.
Sam Dirksz, founder
Who is behind Lynus?
Lynus is built by three founders: Samuel Dirksz, CEO, Rune Blom, CCO, and Erik Einebærholm, CTO. Our background is casework, product development, finance and systems development.

Samuel Dirksz
Co-founder and CEO
Sam saw casework from both sides: he advised founders through Innovasjon Norge, and helped build MinSide and En vei inn, the public portal they use to find funding. He was a senior advisor there from 2020 until the office closed in 2026. Before that, product at Digital Revisor, automating the routine work of auditors and accountants with early AI, where he and Erik first worked together. Twenty-five years of building came before all of it: custom PCs, bike shops in Amsterdam, digital ventures. But he came to tech through social pedagogy, not code, trained to sit with people and keep asking why until the real problem shows up. That instinct is the whole idea behind Lynus: start with the person doing the job, not the tool.

Rune Blom
Co-founder and CCO
Rune has done the exact job Lynus is built for. At Innovasjon Norge he was a financing advisor handling funding applications, the casework itself, alongside sparring with founders and growth companies. The commercial and finance spine runs deep: audit at EY, five years of management consulting at BDO, a strategy master from NHH, and CFO at Vestnes Ocean today after running a branch at SAR. At Lynus he owns the commercial side, the pricing, the pipeline, and the long public-sector sales cycle, with a finance brain that keeps every number honest. He has closed B2B deals in regulated, slow-moving industries long enough to know trust comes before the contract.

Erik Einebærholm
Co-founder and CTO
Erik has been building and running systems since the late 1990s, from IBM and AT&T global networks to five years leading IT at Telenor, then software development at Digital Revisor, where he and Sam first worked together. Today he is a system developer at ProResult. He is the critical eye on every decision, pushing on security, data flow and the way it actually feels to use. He lives close to AI, following it day to day, and keeps the build honest. He ships things that stay shipped.
Where does Lynus stand today?
Today Lynus is a working MVP for AI-supported casework. We are running a pilot and have no customers to name yet. The caseworker describes the work in plain language, Lynus builds the workflow steps, and a person reviews and signs every case. We are looking for pilot organisations among municipalities, county authorities and state agencies.
